ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY

We were asked to create a masterplan for a derelict site in Glasgow city centre - allowing us a window into urban planning. The core project was to develop urban housing on a portion of our masterplan, responding to our brief, “to work, to play”.

I endeavor to bring the elderly back into the city centre by creating an assisted-living facility right in the heart of Glasgow. By reinvigorating a listed building and its environs, analysing user needs, and using sustainable building methods, the project creates an attractive but cost-conscious design.
